Our recommendations for an overnight stay on the canoe trip

If you want a longer trip on the river, perhaps in connection with an overnight stay, then you may divide the trip into several stages, then you can make good use of the nearby accommodation options. Many of the accommodations are within walking distance of the stream, where you can easily walk to and from the stream when staying overnight. The canoes can be left by the river until you have to leave again the next day. Take e.g. Routes 2 and 3 on the first day and overnight in Bredebro, after which the trip continues towards Ballum lock on the second day. Another option would be to take route 1 and 2, where many will spend the night in Løgumkloster or bredebro. after which you sail on to routes 3 and 4 on the second day.
